The county has already published the 2027 winter dates: Friends of the Library members have Friday, February 5 from 5:30pm to 9pm to themselves, and for the equivalent July 2026 night WECT reported a $20.00 sign-up at the door, before the room opens to everyone on February 6, 7 and 8 and again on February 12, 13 and 14. A WECT report dated July 10, 2026 announced the summer edition's return for the week after, so a July run and a February run is the rhythm to plan a buying trip around.

Downtown on any weekday you are gambling on Old Books, since its site and its own September 2025 Facebook notice disagree about Wednesday and Thursday. If a long browse in Brunswick County is what you want, pick a Tuesday or a Thursday, when Leland holds its doors open until 7pm, and if you want the county sale rather than the storefronts, block out the second week of February 2027.
