Niagara Now reported that it grew out of a one-day book sale the hub held at the church the previous year, and that it sells used books alongside puzzles, games and toys. A $20 membership, good for a year, brings a free book or puzzle in your birthday month and half-price books and puzzles on Toonie Tuesdays. Its Instagram bio, checked in September 2026, gives Tuesday and Saturday mornings into early afternoon plus a Thursday evening shift, a shorter Tuesday than the June press reports printed, and a July 25, 2026 post in a local Facebook group put most items at $1 to $4.

In Niagara Falls, Birchway Niagara turns a whole rink at the Gale Centre into a used book sale every June, a fundraiser the charity says has run for more than four decades in support of survivors of gender-based violence in South Niagara. The 47th edition ran June 2 to 7, 2026, opening with a $10 presale on the Tuesday evening before five free-admission days, and the organizer's May 26 release put most titles at $3; ahead of opening, the Niagara Falls Review put the haul at 3,456 boxes. The event page still carried no 2027 dates on September 27, 2026, and donations reopened in July at Apple Self Storage on Kent Avenue.
